| Kankuro was appointed Godaime Kazekage in May following the death of his father, and since has been taking every step he can to be a good figure of strength and support for his village. Things were a little shaky at first due to the fact that Rasa's death was sudden - and the fact that Kankuro hadn't been planning to be Kage for at least another few years - but after talking to his siblings, mentors and those closest to him Kankuro was soon reassured. Being groomed for the position by Rasa for a few years, meant that Kankuro saw many of the mistakes the man made by shutting advisors out and using his totalitarian attitude to control the village in a bid to protect it. This in mind, Kankuro will gladly make use of the political support from his siblings offer him, and will become a more hands-on Kazekage in terms of focusing on battle and military empowerment; taking up the front lines of Suna's military, improving power and battle prowess and defence in order to keep the village he loves safe without sacrificing a few for the sake of the many as his father had. - x - This, of course, is all dependant on if the remaining Suna players in the game want him to remain Kage. If there is a better solution, of course, and current Suna players would rather have a present Kage played by a player, go ahead and assume Kankuro was forced to step down by the council/Daimyo. He'd be very unhappy at being messed about, but if it is easier to have him in the background of running the Puppet Core again, that's cool too. |
